After having registered for our Joshua Tree Retreat Center Holotropic Breathwork Workshop, you can get to the retreat center by following the directions below:
JTRC is located approximately 45 minutes from Palm Springs International Airport, 1 3/4 hours from Ontario Airport, and 2 3/4 hours from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). We are in the high desert at 3000 feet with wonderfully cool mornings and evenings even during the warmest of seasons. The Joshua Tree National Park is only 6 miles away, and aside from our own hiking trails, we have a unique and beautiful marshland with additional hiking just minutes away. JTRC is an ideal setting to fully experience your Holotropic Breathwork Session (as created by world renowned psychiatrist Dr Stan Grof) and experience the healing potential of non-ordinary states of consciousness through breath and music. As Jack Kornfield, Author of 12 books and world renowned Meditation Teacher says: “The therapeutic benefits of Holotropic Breathwork are remarkable. To get there coming from Los Angeles, you take Exit #117 off of the 10 Frwy (CA 62/29 Palms/Yucca Valley) Twenty Nine Palms Hwy and go north for about 25 miles. You will then get to the town of Yucca Valley. Towards the end of Yucca Valley you will get to Avalon Avenue, then pass a Walmart and Home Depot on your right. You will then get to La Contenta Road which is at the end of the town of Yucca Valley. After La Contenta Road, you need to watch carefully. The entrance to the retreat center (“Joshua Tree Retreat Center/Institute of Mentalphysics“) is on your left about a one minute drive later. The phone number at the venue is 760-365-8371.

Hotel Accommodations Near the Joshua Tree Retreat Center
If you prefer to procure your own hotel, or if you would like to extend your stay in this lovely area, here are some hotels in the area.
The closest towns to the retreat center are Yucca Valley and Joshua Tree, both of which are about a 5 minute drive. The next closest after that is Twenty Nine Palms which is about a 16 – 20 minute ride depending on where in the town you are staying. I would not advise staying any further away from the venue than that. The hotels listed below are just a partial list. Any other hotels in these cities that you find on hotel websites like hotels.com are fine also.
