Michael Stone is a Stan Grof Certified Holotropic Breathwork Workshop Facilitator based in Los Angeles who was originally educated in the sciences and business. He originally started his career as an employee in a large pharmaceutical company. Despite his success in the corporate world his internal state was not fulfilled. So he decided to follow his intuitive notion and quit his job and create his own business. He has since created, developed and sold several businesses in a variety of different fields. His overall success as an entrepreneur over the past 15 years has allowed him to devote most of his time to following his own spiritual path and also teach what he has learned to others. He has studied numerous spiritual practices which he has incorporated into his daily life. Saemi Nakamura is a Grof Certified Holotropic Breathwork Facilitator. She was born and grew up in Tokyo. She came to Los Angeles to study acting and has worked on films, television shows, and numerous commercials for more than twenty years. She also became a published author and written a series of essays sharing her personal growth and inspired many young people in Japan. She had her first experience with an expanded state of awareness during a Holotropic Breathwork workshop in 2011. After a three year long training, she became a Stan Grof Certified Holotropic Breathwork Facilitator in 2016. Her focus is to support people to be freed from their conditioning and reprogram their minds by using quantum theory and cutting edge knowledge about the science of perception. Matthew Stelzner is a professional astrologer who has been practicing astrology in San Francisco for the last fifteen years. He practices a unique form of archetypal astrology, which he learned from Richard Tarnas and Stanislav Grof during his years as a graduate student at the California Institute of Integral Studies. He has completed coursework both towards a Ph.D. in Humanities and a master’s degree in counseling psychology. He is a Stan Grof Certified Facilitator of Holotropic Breathwork and a senior staff member and teacher with Grof Transpersonal Training. He has assisted Stan Grof and Richard Tarnas with their graduate-level courses, and has taught the GTT astrology module internationally several times. Glenn Girlando, M.A., is a Stan Grof Certified Holotropic Breathwork facilitator who has been studying and practicing breathwork since 1991. He completed a Masters in Psychology from Antioch University in Seattle in 1998, with a focus on Transpersonal Issues & Spirituality in Adult Education. In 2001, he completed Stanislav Grof’s two-year long Transpersonal Training program and has been offering Holotropic Breathwork workshops in the area since 2002. Colleen Reid, M.E.S., is a Grof Certified Holotropic BreathworkTM Facilitator based in Ojai, CA. She studied psychology at Dartmouth College and holds a Master of Environmental Studies from Yale University. She serves on the Advisory Board of the Foundation for Conscious Evolution, and is a Founding Steward for the Milagro World Center. As a naturalist, poet, writer, and explorer, Colleen uses her long career in conservation to inform her nature-based approach to both human and planetary healing and wellness. Dana Huffman is a musician and abstract artist from Los Angeles. Cal Parrott is a certified Holotropic Breathwork facilitator since 2011. His lifelong interest in Taoism, Humanistic Psychology and 40 years of Transcendental Meditation led him to Stan Grof’s work related to the marriage of psychology and spirituality. Cal is a senior staff member of the Grof Transpersonal Training program and helps to facilitate teaching modules in the U.S. and Mexico.
